Introduction:

  • The 'Patch Management' feature automates the deployment of operating system patches to managed Windows devices. Endpoint Manager checks Microsoft servers for available Windows patches and lists them in the interface.

  • Endpoint Manager shows details about each patch, including patch classification, the Windows component to which it applies, release date, severity, previous versions, Microsoft bulletins and number of endpoints which require the patch.

  • You can deploy patches to devices as required. You can install multiple patches on a device simultaneously. You can filter patches by multiple criteria, including company and device group.

Process in brief

  • Log into C1 then click ‘Applications’ > ‘Endpoint Manager’

  • Click 'Devices' > 'Device List'

  • Click the 'Device Management' tab above the control buttons

  • Click the name of a Windows device to open its details page

  • Select the 'Patch Management' tab
