Maintenance windows is used for creating a scheduled tasks for the procedures or monitor running on the endpoint.
It will also randomize the tasks to prevent perfomance issues.

To create maintenance windows from profiles
Step : Go to Endpoint Manager > CONFIGURATION TEMPLATES > Profiles
Select the profile which needs maintenance windows configuration.
For example: Here we are selecting profile named "windows profile"
Step : Click Add Profile Section and select "Maintenance Window"
Step : Creating a maintenance period
Click "Add Window"
Name - Enter the name for the maintenance condition
Schedule - Select the schedule as daily,weekly or monthly for the maintenance task to run.
For example: Here we selected as weekly and also selected on which days of the week for schedule to run
Start time - Select the start time for the maintenance windows to run
For example: We have set our maintenance window start time at 5:12 AM
End time - Select the stop time for running maintenance window.
For example: We have set our stop time as 12:30 PM
Step : Configuring settings
Click "Settings" tab
i.)To randomize task starting times for each device within the maintenance window to minimize the load on the network and systems.
Selecting this checkbox will make each task run at different time from each other and this will prevent the endpoint from slowing.
ii.)Stop monitors during maintenance window
Selecting this check box will stop all the monitors which are already running at the endpoint inorder to run the maintenance window.

Select the profile for which procedure to be configured to run under maintenance window
Click "Add" under procedures for adding a new procedure
In schedule settings "Select schedule on a maintenance window"
This will run the procedures as per the scheduled maintenance window
To view main maintenance window logs:
Go to Device list > select the device for which the profile is applied > Click 'Maintenance Windows'.
This maintenance window tabs shows ON/OFF
ON - Maintenance window is currently running.
OFF - Maintenance window is not running.
NAME - it will show the name of the maintenance window
For example: Here the name is "Weekly maintenance"
PERIOD - it shows maintenance window periodic run.
For example: Here it is scheduled to run weekly
PROFILE - it shows which profile is attached to the maintenance window
For example:Here the profile name the is containment
MAINTENANCE TIME - shows the time at which the maintenance window ran
CURRENT STATUS - shows whether the status of the configured window is on or off.
