This wiki helps you to view the connection status of the device enrolled in your ITarian account based upon color identification (i.e, green, blue and grey).
Let us look into the below step to know more about the device connection status.
Step : In the ITARIAN portal go to Endpoint Manager→ Device Management→ Device list. You can view the devices in which you are enrolled in an account.
Step : The status of the device connection will be shown based on the color identification such as green grey and blue.
Green: The device is reporting properly on the portal and commands should be executed in real time.
Blue: Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) is a communication protocol which acts as a message-oriented middleware between Endpoint Manager and the endpoints. The blue indicator means that the device communicates with the portal however the XMPP connection isn't established since the endpoint is busy which results in slow connection i.e the device is connected and can report patch status, and show software inventory, just like the online devices do,but commands and messages may take some time for execution.
Note: In case of emergency, we could do restarting Endpoint Manager service for successful XMPP connection.
Grey: A device is not reachable. The connection may be down or the endpoint is an offline state.
