How to use the global software inventory to remove applications from devices

  • The global software inventory shows all applications installed on managed Windows devices.

  • Details about each product include the software publisher and the number of devices on which the app is installed. 

  • You can click on the product name to view additional details such as description, language and detected versions.

  • The interface lets you view devices which have a particular app installed and remove it from selected/all devices.

  • Note: You can only remove apps that are supported by Endpoint Manager. See Endpoint Manager Supported 3rd Party Applications for a full list.

Uninstall applications from devices

  • Log into ITarian at https://one.comodo.com 

  • Click 'Applications' > 'Endpoint Manager'

  • Click 'Applications' > 'Global Software Inventory':

 

  • Use the check-boxes on the left to select the applications you want to remove.
  • Click the funnel icon on the right to filter and search for applications
  • Select a company or group on the left to see apps on devices which belong to a specific entity
  • Click the 'Uninstall' button. In the example below we will uninstall the '7 Zip' application from all four devices on which it was discovered:

 

  • If you only want to remove the from certain devices then click the number in the 'Installed devices' column. This will open a list of devices on which the app is installed. Select the devices you want to remove it from and click 'Uninstall Applications'.
  • The uninstall command is sent to all devices which have the application installed. Click 'OK' at the confirmation message:
